The Kant Square Stone Coffee Table’s top is offered in a range of rare stones—including the painterly Portoro marble (shown throughout)—discerningly sourced by an expert mason for its singular veining and exceptional quality, then precisely cut, ground, and polished to accord perfectly with the Kant’s wooden frame. Built from solid hardwood, the frame is customizable in both length and width, then shaped, sanded, buffed, and finished by hand at a multi-generational, family-owned woodworking shop in the Northeast. For an airy, elegant silhouette, the Kant features an X-shaped support spanning the underside of the table in lieu of a cross-stretcher. Custom metal hardware handmade in Maine provides a jewel-like finish.
