The Skafeld Stone Coffee Table’s base is constructed entirely from solid hardwood, every piece of which is shaped and finished by hand at a master multi-generational, family-owned woodworking shop in Pennsylvania. Its stone top–hand-selected by an expert mason for the rarity of its veining and exquisite quality–is precisely cut, ground, and polished to accord with the Skafeld’s frame. The top notches into four hooved, gently chamfered legs, which are accented with custom metal hardware. Dual, mirrored support structures—substantial wood cross stretchers, and slender wood dowels—provide added stability, and a shifting silhouette that morphs as you view the Skafeld from differing angles.
